Description
As a guitarist, whenever I want to play a song, I usually search for it online by typing “song name + chords”. However, finding accurate guitar chords can be frustrating. Some songs aren’t listed at all, while others include incorrect chords — forcing me to fix them mentally while playing.
Realizing this gap, I decided to build a modern guitar chords website where I could both share correct chords and offer a clean, user-friendly experience.
I started designing a platform that’s not just a chord database, but also a personalized space for musicians.
Most existing websites feel outdated, both visually and functionally. That’s why I used modern frontend frameworks to design a minimalist, responsive, and visually balanced interface.
A well-structured navigation menu, soft color palette, and thoughtful whitespace bring the focus back to what matters — playing music with ease.
But this project goes beyond just showing chords. My goal is to make it a small social platform where users can:
1. Create and manage personal repertoires
2. View recently played or favorited songs
3. Adjust profile visibility
4. Contribute by adding new songs
The project still requires more development time, but once finished, I believe it will be an inspiring and practical platform for every guitarist looking for reliable chords and a modern experience.
